With the new Nokia N900 can download torrents without any problem to see films or videos on your screen. The downloads of P2P now will be very easy thanks to the application Transmission P2P, which allows connect to P2P networks from the Nokia N900.

 

 

Now, this new application is beta and does not work  perfect, but confident that when lance to sell the N900 will be enhanced by the developers.

 

It is interesting to reproduce the files in its traditional format as can be XDVD or AVI, without having to change the format and losing quality in the image at the time to see a film or video in the small screen of our terminal.

 

With this application in the N900 sure we can build more still to our terminal. see video of how Transmission P2P app.

   This seems to be a very nice application, but I couldn’t find any further information about it. Do you still have the initial developer’s contact or any further info on this?

   To install:

   Enable extras-devel to your software catalog

   Open X Terminal

   Type in:

   sudo gainroot

   apt-get install transmission

   You’ll get some errors about the icon type not working or something, but you’ll see that it was installed anyway in your Applications menu.

   i typed the key words in xter……but after pressing enter….it says”unable to lock administration directory”….what should i do…..?anyone guys

    ive downloaded transmission done everything i had to started downloading and it keeps pausing and dont let me download can anybody help me it will be very apreciated thanks.
